Well, since it looks like a lot of you have no sense of direction either, i thought i'd share this horrible, embarrassing story about my complete lack of direction....
When alex and I were living in kansas city, our apartment was in an area called 'the plaza', which has about a 5 block radius and is basically a really cute outdoor shopping mall.
WELL, i, who have ABOSLUTELY no sense of direction, enjoyed walking around to all the shops. However, one day I guess i got so engrossed in whatever new purse or shoes i was looking at that i got completely disoriented! i walked around for 30 minutes trying to figure out which way my building is.
Finally, i got so frustrated that i sat down on a bench and called alex. i said: ALEX! i'm completely lost! i'm sitting outside of Saks, COME AND FIND ME!
He, and the friends he was with at the time will never ever let me live that one down.....
Ah, the shame, ah, the horror!

Ahahaha! Too funny... lost outside Saks!
1I once "lost" my car in the parking garage out side Macy's and called security. Turns out I had parked in the garage right next to the one I was in.
there are worse places to be lost.... hahaha
2Redegg I'm always losing my car
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that does this
3Liza!! I LOVE THE PLAZA!!!! And I can totally see how one can get lost there
4when were you there?
5atox - don't you think it's a little confusing??? all the streets look the same and curve around each other! hahaha...
6hahahaaa that sounds so like me Liza! I always say that I was born without a compass
And I'm always fascinated by those persons who can find an address even if they've never been there before! what's up with that!

Thats HILARIOUS!
8It was a couple years ago Liza, a few friends and I stopped at the Plaza when we went to KC for a bit...yes, I was confused, but I am *so* easily confused if I don't know an area
9I live in a town that only has two roads in and out.. and I live on one of them.. so - a right takes you to town and a left takes you out of it. It's pretty flippin simple and my youngest sister is so clueless. I told her I would drive her to town to pick up something and when I turned right she freaked out saying I was going the wrong way. I'm like.. Hello!! We've lived here our entire lives.. and I'm 9 years older. I think I know where the F I'm going.
Believe me.. she'll never live it down. Her sense of direction still sucks, but at least she now knows which way town is.

11I have lived in the same town for almost 13 years now so I know where pretty much everything is. HOWEVER... I have no idea what most of the street names are... or how many lights are b/w place x & place y. I drive people nuts b/c I just can't give directions to save my life. I always end up saying
"well, you go down that street for awhile & turn at the light."
"well, which light?"
"uhh, I don't know. there are some buildings around & maybe a few trees"
@ Sashak...I've had people give me those kinds of directions before...they'll tell me to turn
left by the big pine tree, when every left corner has a big pine tree on it
